I wrote this song so long ago, and have never intended on playing it or recording it. It was one of those songs you write and then toss aside, just to get it out. But a few loved ones who've heard it encouraged me to record it. So i did. A very shitty recording, but still.
The song is from a weekend trip I did in Texas many years ago. I'd given a vagabond friend of mine a ride to Dallas and he'd given me some DMT in exchange. I'd never done it before, and being too eager I pulled into a Walmart parking lot, climbed into the back of my jeep, and set off into the universe. Since I'd smoked it from my only weed pipe, I got small euphoric effects from it for the rest of the weekend, and wrote the song on the way home.
