about

I must've carried this tune around for some time. Maybe I'd heard the chords once before, somewhere. But it was kind of a little bluegrass-y number I'd play around the house. I'd tried to right lyrics to it many times. Until one day, I was thinking of the correlation between ourselves and those who we disdain. Seeing the human in those who don't seem so. I thought of all the times I been disgusted by own selfishness or in-compassion, and how seeing those behaviors displayed at a grand scale by some leaders of the world made me wish to rid myself of them altogether.
